Global Settings - Account

Overview

The Account level is the top tier of the Abacus hierarchy, representing the client company or organization. All entities and jurisdictions fall under the account structure.

Available Actions

1. View Account Details

  • Read-only display of account information
  • Service level agreements
  • Compliance preferences

2. User Roles Management

  1. Go to Global Settings → Account
  2. Click "Manage" next to the account
  3. Select "User Roles" tab
Adding User Roles at Account Level
  1. Click "Add User Role"
  2. Select user email from dropdown
  3. Choose entity (if multiple exist) - entities created in Entity Setup
  4. Select access level:
    • Account: Full access to all entities
    • Entity: Specific entity access
    • Jurisdiction: Single jurisdiction access
  5. Assign role type (see User Roles):
    • Client: Full permissions
    • Client Without Approval: Limited permissions
    • Client Read Only: View only
  6. Save user role
Managing Existing Roles
  • Edit Role: Click pen icon, modify permissions
  • End Date Role: Set expiration date for temporary access
  • Delete Role: Click trash icon, confirm removal
